Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you use this website or work with the studio.

Last updated: 3 October 2026Applies to this website, estimates and project enquiries.

About these terms

These terms apply between you and 360 Engineering & Consultancy, an architecture and interior design studio at 102/1 West Agargaon, Dhaka 1207. They cover your use of this website and the estimates, quotations and visits you request through it.

When you appoint us for a project, we both sign an appointment letter or contract. That document sets out the scope, fees and programme for your project, and where it differs from these terms, the signed document applies.

We may update these terms. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.

Using this website

You may browse this website and share its pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy our drawings, photographs, films or text to promote another business, or present our work as your own.

We describe our services and projects as accurately as we can. Some photographs and films on the site show design concepts or illustrate a type of work, and a note under the section says so. The site may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

Links to WhatsApp, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Maps and our social pages open services that other companies run. Their own terms apply there.

Estimates and quotations

The estimate form on this website gives a first indication of cost from the home size, rooms and package you select. It is not a quotation and not an offer to do the work.

We give a written quotation only after we visit the site, measure the space and agree the scope and materials with you. A quotation is valid for 30 days from its date, because the prices of steel, cement, timber, fittings and imported materials change often. After that we may need to revise it.

Appointing the studio

We offer architecture, interior design and project execution, together or on their own. Your appointment starts when we both sign the appointment letter or contract and we receive the first payment it names.

To keep the project on programme, we ask you to:

  • Give us a clear brief and a realistic budget, and tell us early when either changes.
  • Provide accurate land, ownership and survey documents, and a soil test report where the design needs one.
  • Approve or comment on each stage within the time the contract sets.
  • Give our team and contractors safe access to the site during agreed working hours.

A change you ask for after you approve a stage may add fees and time. We confirm the effect in writing before we start the change.

Fees and payments

Your contract sets out our fee and a payment for each stage of work, for example on signing, at concept design, at approval drawings, at working drawings and during execution. We start a stage once the payment for the stage before it has reached us.

Pay by bank transfer or account payee cheque to the company account named on our invoice. We never ask you to pay into a personal account or a mobile wallet. If a message asks you to, do not pay it, and call us on the number on this site.

Fees exclude VAT, source tax and the government and authority fees for approvals and clearances, unless the quotation says otherwise. We charge and deduct taxes as the Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act, 2012 and the income tax law require.

Approvals and compliance

We design to the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC 2020), the Detailed Area Plan and the building construction rules in force for the site. In Dhaka, RAJUK approves building plans. Elsewhere, the city development authority or the local government does.

A project may also need clearance from Fire Service and Civil Defence, the Department of Environment or the Civil Aviation Authority. We prepare the drawings and applications, and we follow them through on your behalf.

The authorities decide the outcome and the timing. We cannot promise a permitted floor area, height or number of storeys before the authority has reviewed the plan, and we are not responsible for delays the authority causes. No work that needs approval starts on site before the approval is granted.

Design ownership

We keep the copyright in our drawings, designs, renders, models and photographs, as the Copyright Act, 2023 provides.

Once you have paid all fees due, you have a licence to build the design once, on the site named in your contract, and to use the drawings to run and maintain the building. You may not reuse the design on another site, or give it to another party to build, without our written consent.

We may photograph and film finished projects for our portfolio and this website. We publish them only with your written consent, and we never publish your address.

Limits of liability

We carry out our services with the reasonable skill and care of a professional architecture and interior design firm in Bangladesh.

We are not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate documents or information you give us, by work that others carry out outside our scope or against our drawings, or by events outside our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, strikes and shortages of materials.

Unless the law does not allow it, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fee you paid for the stage of work the claim concerns. The defects liability period for execution work is the one your contract states.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and every appointment are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, including the Contract Act, 1872.

If a disagreement arises, tell us in writing, and we will meet within 14 days to settle it in good faith. If we cannot settle it within 30 days, either of us may refer it to arbitration under the Arbitration Act, 2001, with the seat of arbitration in Dhaka. Subject to that, the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
